------------------------------------------------------------

Full Name: Emara Elson

Other Names: Em, Miss Elson

Gender: Female

Place of Residence/Origin: Ninjago City

Species: Human

Affiliation: An Ally to Sensei Wu's Ninja team

Is She a Ninja?: No

Occupation: Working at her brother's restaurant, the Lucky Stones. Apparently she used to be a singer for the restaurant, but then stopped because of her growing insecurity. She only does singing once a week now on her guitar.

~Personality~

Emara has a deep fascination and wonder for stories of history, lore, legend and mythical objects and places. She is shown overall to be a gentle and kind girl, who has a photographic memory. She having a curious mind, causes her to immediately want to find the truth and solution to a problem. Emara believes in being their for your friends, and fighting in any ways possible to protect and defend them.

From season 1-2, Emara starts off as a normal average girl. She has no knowledge of the powers she has and what it could do. Emara had insecurity and self esteem issues during the series. When she learned the origin of her powers and joined allied forces with the Ninjas, she tried to harness it, but because having no experience in any form of combat or weaponry, she struggled a lot. This caused her many times to think that she could not ever get strong enough, even to the point she thought that her ancestor had chosen the wrong person to hold the crystal and saying to herself that she wasn't worthy of being alongside the ninjas and the chosen one of the Comet Powers.

However when Cole gave her advice, that achieving such strength takes time, and to never think of giving up. He told her that despite not having strength to equal the Ninjas and Nya, the Crystal chose her for a reason that none cannot explain. Hearing this, Emara took Cole's words to heart, which formed a close friendship and admiration towards the earth Ninja, and later a secret hidden crush.

~All Known Abilities So far~

- Emara possesses a legendary and ancient artifact, The crystal of the Falling stars, or it's more common and accurate name is the Crystal of Comets. With this crystal, she is able to generate an airborne dust and material that has the similar organic make up that is found in comet dust tails. However, Ninjas for many decades see that this power has it's own twist. The floating dust has a unique trait where it is much more destructive and dangerous than normal comet dust. It can be condensed together in a shape of a ball to make a floating glowing ball. When a ball or a dust trail is formed in your hand, it can be thrown in any direction and will explode on impact, creating damage. The dust comes in a mixture of colours including purple, blue, and white.

- Despite all of these projectile movements, Emara is not strong in brawn, physical form of combat. At first at this point, she is not that strong, and can only use her powers to defend herself and deflect attacks.

- Her ability suggests one of the reasons why she and Cole are able to work well together. Rock and earth are part of what is found in a comet. This mean that Cole's and Emara's powers could be merged to make a more hard and dangerous comet.

~Family~

Father: Known as Mr Elson

Mother: Known as Mrs Elson

Siblings: Nick Elson, her twin brother

Other known relatives: Vyncis, an ancient ancestor from the family (Deceased), Shion Vyncis's wife (Deceased)

~Bio/History~

Prologue

Emara has lived in Ninjago City her entire life so far. She and her family live atop a mansion like house on a hill, where the Ninjago city can be be accessed by riding down there by bike.

Emara came across her necklace when she was the age of 7. From her bedroom, she heard a loud bang that even reached a part of Ninjago city. Because she saw a light blue trail fall into the woods near her house, her curious mind got the better of her and she went to find out what was going on. When she got closer and closer to the the area where she saw the blue light, she saw a small wood clearing, with blue light and energy coming from it.

In the middle of the clearing, she saw what looks like to be a rocky structure. When Emara got closer, she realized that it was an ice like structure, noticing that there was something glowing inside it. Seeing as it didn't seem to harm her ( after poking the soccer ball sized rock with a stick ) she then began to carry it home. It was a slow and quite a struggling process, as the rock was quite heavy. When she arrived, she asked her brother ( who was at home at the time ) to help her open up the rock. Nick hesitated and was unsure, but when Emara mentioned that there was something inside, Nick agreed to help. He took the rock into the family shed and carefully picked it apart. When the rock was finally broken, it revealed a glowing blue crystal, shaped a bit like a three pointed leaf. When Emara touched it ( despite Nick frantically trying to stop her ), The crystal stopped glowing and seemed to go back to ' normal '. Nick tried to shake the crystal a bit, but it wouldn't glow again. As Nick was about to throw it away, Emara stopped him and asked if he could turn it into a necklace. Nick didn't really see the problem, and he did have skills working with this sort of thing in his high school.  Two hours later, Nick fashioned a necklace out of the crystal, using one of their mother's old silver necklace chain to attach to it. Emara loved the gift and has worn it ever since.

Season 1

Years later, Nick during the time has discovered his passion in food and cooking, opening up his own restaurant ( The Lucky Stones ) and with his younger sister helping out. It was around the time Where Nya had heard of a new restaurant opening up and was taking the Ninjas, including Sensei Wu to come along. As the gang was finally seated, Sensei Wu had is attention turned to the singer on stage, playing the guitar. Her red hair was what caught his attention, as the shade reminded him of a book describing the appearance of the Comet Ninja Master, " He had vibrant red hair, that even symbolized utmost determination, wild yet heroic ".

As the elderly man looked closer, he was shocked to see that this girl even slightly resembled the Comet Ninja in appearance, almost a feminine version of him. She had the brown eyes and wavy hair too, but she did not have his freckles. What really almost caught Sensei Wu off guard was when he looked at the necklace she was wearing. It was not a coincidence that it uncannily resembled the Crystal of Comets, for it was the true artifact. Wu had remembered reading as a child that the crystal was supposedly missing somewhere, floating in space until it will finally fall for it's chosen holder. Once the crystal sensed it's chosen holder's touch, it will stop glowing all together, waiting to glow again until the user can learn to unlock it's power. There was no doubt that the red head singer is the chosen one to the Comet Crystal and Sensei Wu needed to get in contact with her in some way, to find out how she obtained it.

At the end of the day, when the restaurant is closing up, Emara was helping her brother to pack away and close for the night. Emara heard a voice ask about her and she turned, seeing as there was an elderly man at the doorway. Sensei Wu pretended to be a simple elderly man that was lost, since it was too dark outside to return home. Emara offered for him to come inside so she could make the man some tea, and then thinking of driving him to his home later on. The two later actually had a small conversation over their tea, with Emara finally asking how he managed to get lost at night. This was when Sensei Wu finally brought up the subject of her necklace, which Emara found herself a little defensive and became wary. Sensei Wu than revealed his identity and explained the past of her necklace. Emara was in the middle of believing him, since what he was describing was exactly what she witnessed as a child, yet still suspicious of this elderly man's story. Wu then suddenly used a special technique and touched her necklace for a brief moment, causing it to glow for a small amount of time, fading out. It was then Emara then truly believed the Ninja teacher completely.

Sensei Wu then made a suggestion that it would be ideal if she should join as Allies of his Ninja students. Along the way, she might even learn even more about her crystal and unlock it's true potential. Emara was shocked at this. She imagined the stress she would have to go through, the enemies that might be attracted to her if she ever became powerful enough. Emara then declined and decided to drive the man home. When she was finally on her way to drop Wu at ' The Monastery of SpinJitzu ' , she was then met with a mountain that she couldn't possibly continue driving up. Wu then told her that she could just drop him off here and he will continue on foot. After making sure for the second time if that is what he wanted, Emara then drove away, trusting his words. The read head female was thinking to herself about his offer. earlier. She decided not to think about it yet and drove back home.

The next morning, while the Ninja were training, they heard a knock on the Monastery doors. When they opened up, they were surprised to see a girl, looking all puffed out and exhausted from riding her bike up the mountain. When she told him that she needed to see Sensei Wu, the Ninjas became suspicious. To prove that she meant no harm, she showed them the reason she was here, her crystal necklace, explaining what Wu had told her the other night. Convinced enough, the Ninjas let her in and took her to Wu. It turned out that Sensei Wu knew that she would come back. After having a long conversation with the teacher, Emara came to the conclusion that she will become an ally to the Ninjas, even agreeing that she would visit them on certain days every week. With Emara as a new added ally to the group, she new that her life from now on will change forever.

After joining as an ally, Emara during season 1 serves as a helper and minor character. Because Sensei Wu seen traits of a leader within Cole, he had put Emara as a sort of student under his training, with Cole giving her advice and basic techniques first that could help her. It was the amount of time she spent with the earth Ninja, that the two soon became quite close friends. At that point, Emara had a growing admiration towards Cole for helping her out and giving her meaningful words of advice when she felt she was struggling, or just about to give up.

Later on regarding the events of the Serpentine, Emara stayed behind at the dojo and was reading about myths and artifacts. She heard a commotion outside and peaked out the window. To her horror, she saw a tribe of snakes, revealing to be the Hypnobrai that she had read about in her books. As she noticed that there were setting fire to the dojo in an attempt to take it down, she quickly grabbed as much of the important things that she needed to save, for both the Ninja's and herself and quickly fled. When the Ninjas arrived, Cole was horrified as he remembered that Emara was inside the Monastery while they were away. He frantically searched the rubble, worrying of the worse. When an ash spotted Emara showed up from her safe hiding place, Cole and the other Ninjas were so relieved that she was alright, with Cole suddenly becoming protective and extremely worried over her. She assured them that she was not harmed physically. She did feel a pang of sorrow and guilt as she looked back at the now burnt down Monastery, an ancient, but beautiful place that did hold quite a lot of memories.

season 2

Emara continues to help alongside the Ninjas, even doing her part to support Lloyd as he was being trained for his role as the Green Ninja. At the same time, she is still trying to get control and develop her abilities. She now has to work part time at the Lucky Stones, as she now has a new duty to uphold. After explaining it to Nick, He understood what she was going through and hired another worker to even out the workload for Emara.

It is also during the middle of Season 2 that Emara's admiration for Cole turned into attraction, a crush. However because of her insecure and nervous personality at the time, she could not muster up the feelings to confess, forcing her to keep her feelings a secret. Zane was the first to notice this which Emara begged for him to not tell anyone yet, which the Nindroid promised with honesty.

Emara was also caught up in the events of the Stone army, but she stayed behind. She was put to the task of researching about Ninjago's ancient timeline history and the events of the Stone army.

In your universe, how old is Emara in each season? Looks like she is 19 or 22 years old.
